We have had a busy Holiday Season this year! Matt and Amanda came to visit with Ashley and Derrick (it's so great that they bring their kids too...). My Dad planned all kinds of fun things to keep everyone busy. We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house.
Here is the kids table parked in front of the front door. The kids had a blast eating together.
Christmas Morning came quickly. The boys were eager to open their presents. Riley was a little dissapointed that "Santa got my order wrong". Fortunately Randy was able to explain to him that Storm Troopers and Clone Troopers are the same thing. Sadly...Mrs. Claus is not up to speed on all things Star Wars and was just looking for the best deal. :) Riley is happy with his gifts now, and seems to enjoy them. Aiden got a McDonalds Drive Thru from Santa and a Tent from Nana, which was a huge hit once we got it set up. (Sorry...no pictures of the kids opening socks and underwear!)
Christmas Breakfast turned out to be not quite tasty enough. Apparently...I was having a bad morning. But we survived and my parents came over to visit for a bit, as well as Matt and Amanda and the kids.
On Friday morning, I had to work, and then we headed up to Winter Park with my family. We had a lot of fun hanging out, eating, playing games etc.

After a relaxing day we headed to the Bousfields for the evening, eagerly anticipating a call from Randy's brother Sean. (He is doing great...and seems to like Bowling Green Kentucky and the members there). The kids opened more presents, including a Basketball Hoop from Grandma and Grandpa Bousfield (yeah!).
Caylin got this nifty toy bucket, which was a HUGE HIT with Aiden and Justin. It was cute to see these two boys figuring out how to play with it. It kept them entertained most of the night! I got some good shots, but I got the best shot on Randy's dad's camera...hopefully we can get that from him sometime. Justin and Aiden are a little mischievious, which makes us wonder about their future "activities" together. :)

One night we played the new game Hullabaloo (one of the gifts for our kids). The kids loved it!! Randy got some great pictures. The three boys all have matching shirts on too. CUTE!
Randy got Matt hooked on the Legos Star Wars game (that's what got Riley hooked on Star Wars by the way). And of course...my parents Wii was always available for entertainment.
But seriously...it wasn't all video games....
The cousins played "invented" games too. Like..."Scoot across the kitchen floor...it's a race!" And of course the ever popular "House" on the top bunk.

We also went Sledding. Here is Aiden all suited up to go. Unfortunately he fell asleep on route as well as Derrick, so Amanda and I sat in the car chatting quietly, while the others went.
And my favorite event was Snow Mobiling! Here are some great shots of Riley, Randy and I waiting for our guide. Jessica stayed at the house with Lily and Aiden so we could go. I had a blast, and loved the speed and excitement. Riley got to ride with Randy. One of the members of our group got stuck, and Randy hopped out with one of the guides to get them unstuck. Riley freaked out and tried to follow him into the snow drift that was probably as tall as him. But, he hopped right back up on the "sled" and was ready to go again. What a fun time!
Randy, my dad, my brother and Riley got to go skiing as well. We tried to put Riley in a lesson, but they were booked, so the men took turns with him. He did well and had a blast. He can't wait to go again.

His favorite part though...was the chair lift. After getting off the first time he said "Dad? Can we do that again?" Randy had to explain that they had to ski all the way down before they could do that again. :)
